Departure towards the High Atlas, via the Tichka pass (2260m) and descent towards Ouarzazate where we will have lunch. Then we will leave for the oasis of the Draa valley and meet our group of camel drivers. Dinner and night in tents. 7 hours drive.
Departure of our hike in the desert by crossing the Jebel Bani. We will climb the Col de Foum Laâchar in the Djbel Bani mountains. Lunch prepared by our cook in the shade of the Diabi oasis. In the afternoon we will descend the dry river through the gorges of Oued Lemhasser. We will meet some nomadic families who live in Bedouin tents with herds of goats and camels (a very harsh life). Night in tents or under the stars. 5 hours of walking.
After breakfast, we cross a large stony plateau before arriving at the small dunes of Oued Laatach. We will have lunch under the tamarisk trees and after 1 hour of walking we will arrive at the large dunes of Bougarne. From our bivouac, we can admire the sunset. Night in tents. 5 hours of walking for this day.
We cross the sand dunes at the pace of camels before reaching a desert plateau which will take us to the small dunes of Kriat Jmel for lunch. We will then have an hour's walk to reach the dunes of Oued Naam. Not far from the dunes, a well will allow us to supply ourselves with water. Night in tents. 5h30 walk.
We will leave the dunes of Oued Naam towards the dunes and the palm grove of Ras Nkhal through landscapes of sand dunes and hamadas, vast stony desert expanses dotted with volcanic stones. Last night in the tents. 5 hours of walking.
The last day of our Morocco trek. Transfer back to Marrakech via the magnificent Draa Valley. Then via Ouarzazate and the Tichka pass before arriving in Marrakech at the end of the day. 450km.

What to Bring
Heavy clothing should really not be on your list, except a good jacket for cold nights during the winter season. In general, light clothing with long sleeves is sufficient. Your clothes should be soft enough and loose enough that you don't feel the heat. Be sure to bring sunglasses, good walking shoes, sunscreen, a scarf, a bottle of water, a small backpack for small items. If you also take certain medications, make sure you have enough for your trip.
